Twelve-year-old brown bear Masha was kept at a hunting station and used as bait for training hunting dogs. In 2013, she was rescued by the 'Nadiya' Rescue Center (now 'White Rock'). She was finally transferred to BEAR SANCTUARY Domazhyr in 2018.
Masha has quickly adjusted to her human carers but is still afraid of dogs.
Her favourite food is fish.
