Kvitka is an 11-year-old female brown bear, who was abused as bait for hunting dogs and was kept in a small cage of no more than four square metres. She was only allowed to leave her cage for fights. On 27 June 2018, Kvitka was finally transferred from the hunting station where she was kept in Terebovlya to BEAR SANCTUARY Domazhyr. Kvitka has a fragile personality and is a very cautious bear due to the abuse she endured in her former life at the hunting station.
She especially likes eating apples and water melons.
