Born in 2001, Manya was bought by her owner when she was a three-year-old cub. She was kept in a cage at a restaurant next to a shopping centre in Lviv, and repeatedly abused for entertainment. For 14 long years she suffered in her cage, during celebrations such as weddings, Manya was even given alcohol.

Manya is a little mysterious. She observes everything carefully and likes to solve tasks. This is good for her self-esteem and helps her psychological rehabilitation.
