Melanka
The female brown bear came to our sanctuary on September 22nd, 2020
Born in 2006, Melanka (and Leo) were found as bear cubs abandoned in a landfill in a nearby village, the hungry cubs were searching for their next meal. Both bears then went to live their whole lives in a small concrete enclosure on the territory of the presidential residence 'Syniogora' Ivano-Frankivsk region.
