Measures in times of corona

We are well prepared and care for our animals

19.3.2020

During the last few days, many supporters have asked us about the status of our projects in connection to the COVID-19 outbreak. And indeed, it is a very busy time also for us. Our mission at FOUR PAWS is to protect animals and therefore we are doing everything to prepare for the times ahead: our Sanctuaries have put together a continuity plan for food, water and nutrition for all our animals ensuring their well-being for an extended period of time. Our caretakers and sanctuary staff are prepared for eventualities and we have made the necessary safety, maintenance and nutritional provisions for all animals.

All our animal welfare projects and programmes are ongoing and will continue as per usual, always following the measures established by the governments of each country. Our highest priority is the well-being of our animals and we have adapted preventive measures to keep the projects running.

Due to movement and travel bans in many countries, animal rescues are on hold until further notice, but our teams are continuously monitoring the situation, planning rescues and are ready to jump into action as soon as travel bans are lifted.

We wanted to assure you that FOUR PAWS is fully committed to the wellbeing of our animals, our team, our partners and collaborators and we will continue to adopt the necessary measures to continue our work and the protection and care of animals in need.

We hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and we would like to thank you for your care for animals in need around the world and your ongoing support, especially in these challenging times.
